The path to the stars begins in your library! To get started, print these pages and take them with you. Whether you're a beginning student of astronomy or of the history of astronomy before the telescope, an amateur astronomer or just someone who wants to become familiar with the night sky, the items listed here will get you headed down the right path!

Of course, to keep this "pathfinder" useful for a beginner, many more favorite items could not be included. Unless otherwise noted, all resources are accessible through the Bizzell Library system of the University of Oklahoma, including the History of Science Collections and the Physics-Astronomy library.
